Here are the items found in the game. Some of them can be bought. The Rest you have to look for.
Item: Ocarina
Upgrade: Ocarina of Time
Ocarina Found: From Sara(NPC) (in Kokiri Forest)
Ocarina of Time Found: Zelda throws it into the water in front of Hyrule Castle when she is being carried away from Gannondorf (but why does it have to be me to save the day)
Used for: All of the magical powers of the game are played through this wonderous musical instrument.
Item: Sling Shot
Found: Great Deku Tree
Used For: You can shoot down enemies that are hanging from places that you can not reach.
Item: Hero?s Bow
Found: WoodHead Dungeon
Used For: You can shoot enemies or flip switches. You?ll use the bow many times before the game is over.
Item: Fire Arrows
Found: Snowhead Dungeon
Used for: These magical have the added benefit of heat. They can harm certain enemies and melt ice.
Item: Light Arrow
Found: Castle Ikana
Used For: These are the most powerful arrows in the game. Use them whenever you are confronted by evil.
Item: Ice Arrow
Found: Water Temple
Used for: You can freeze things easily with these magical arrows. Try shooting pools of water and maybe even your enemies.
Item: Bomb
Found: Town Bomb Shops
Used For: The bomb can be used for killing enemies or revealing secret passages. Just don?t get hit by the blast.
Item: Bombchu
Found: Town Bomb Shops
Used For: Use the Bombchu to nail those hard to hard-to-reach spots. You can control its path before it explodes.
Item: Deku Nut
Found: Town Shops or by killing enemies or bushes.
Used For: These can stun enemies if thrown. The Deku Mask form can drop on these enemies too!
Item: Deku Stick
Found: Town Shops or by killing enemies or bushes.
Used For: You will use the Deku Stick as a torch. Simply stick one end into some flame and behold the power of fire!(What a pyromaniac lol)
Item: Magic Beans
Found: Deku Palace/Swamp in holes.
Used For: By planting these beans you can make a flower appear. After watering the plant, it?ll grow.

Found: Swamp Tourist Information
Used For: You can take pictures with this enigmatic box. Try acquiring pictures of important game characters.
Item: Power Keg
Found: Goron Village
Used For: You can acquire these from a shop owner after Snowhead has been defrosted. You can only carry one. These are powerful bombs that will explode giant boulders from blocking your way or secret passages that bombs cannot.
Item: Lens of Truth
Found: Goron Village
Used For: This lens will reveal illusions for what they are. Whenever you?re suspicious, whip this baby out!
Item: Hookshot
Upgrade: Longshot
Hookshot is found:
Longshot is found: Pirate?s Fortress
Used For: You can use this item to grapple to out of reach locations. You can also use this as a weapon to stun your enemies.
Item: Bottle
Found: Around the world
Used For: The Bottles are used to carry various materials such as Milk, potions, fairies, insects, water, and even ghosts. You can only care 5.
Item: Deku Shield
Upgrade: Hyrule Shield
Upgrade: Mirror Shield:
Deku Shield Found: Kokiri Shop
Hyrule Shield Found: Hyrule Castle Shop
Mirror Shield Found: Ikana Well
Used For: You can shield yourself from attacks with the Deku and Hyrule Shields but with the Mirror Shield you can reflect light and spells. Every time you get a upgrade it will replace the one you already had.
Item: Kokiri Sword
Upgrade: Master Sword
Upgrade: Gilded Sword
Kokiri Sword Found: Kokiri Village
Master Sword Found: Temple of Time (in doors)
Gilded Sword Found: Mountain Smithy
Used For: The Kokiri Sword is the sword you use when you are younger. The Master Sword you can use to deflect spells back at your enemies or others. The Gilded sword is the best upgrade. You will need to un-freeze the forge and get some rare materials for this. It can do anything except for cutting threw rocks.(That means it can cut threw trees too! Yay)
Item: Bombers? Notebook
Found: East Clock Town
Used For: Use this Notebook to keep track of who in the world needs to be made happy and when.
